About the university
The Andean University of Cusco was founded on October 05, 1979, by the following personalities: Dr. Antonio Callo Cáceres, Dr. Néstor Bustos Silva, Mr. Luis Vallejos Santoni (t) and Dr. César Cornejo Foronda (t) , Which initially formed the Promoting Society of the Andean University of Cusco, later to change by Civil Promotion Association. On May 23, 1984, it was created by Law No. 23837, which gave legal origin to its existence, having as its headquarters the Mother Park, to be installed later in its own premises of the Urbanization Larapa Grande of the District of San Jerome. Since its inception it has fulfilled the process of organization and implementation, constituting an institution designed to offer higher education, research and social projection at the service of the community, strengthening the primacy of the human person who is the supreme end of society and Of the State; Deeply committed to social change and contributing to the creation of a fair, free, supportive, educated society at the service of local, regional and national development.
