About the university
The University for Andean Development (acronym: UDEA ) is a Peruvian university , located in the city of Lircay in the department of Huancavelica. It was founded in 1998. Currently, 330 students study at the UDEA, graduating in the professional schools of Initial, Elementary and Secondary Education; Agricultural Sciences and Computer Engineering; Under the tutelage of 45 teachers working in our nine classrooms and seven fully equipped laboratories. The UDEA is oriented to bilingual scientific and technological development, encouraging local, regional and international research. First bilingual university (Quechua - Spanish). Mission Humanistic university, innovative, generating science and technology, leader in development and bilingual education, which forms humanistic, ethical and scientific professionals with a degree of academic excellence, responding to the development needs of the Andean Region and Culture. Vision To train professionals that are required for the development of the region, starting their activities in the area of Bilingual Education, the foundation of regional development with scientific and technological management that will contribute to the improvement of teaching, research, social promotion, agricultural production and marketing, for their Self-sustaining productive development to improve the standard of living in the region.
