About the university
The origins of our National University of Huancavelica date back to the time of the government of General Manuel A. Odria, which presents a series of creation projects, until the period of the APRA regime, in which the Creation Project , Presented by deputy Dr. Moisés Tambini del Valle was approved by Law No. 25265, The same that was promulgated and published on June 20, 1990, creating the National University of Huancavelica with the following Faculties: Engineering Sciences, Education and Nursing, being the first Peruvian University that, by its creation has a decentralized nature. It is worth mentioning the effective contribution of the deputies of then Messrs. Tasiano Girón, Andrés Loayza and Alejandro Herrera. As well as Senator Rolando Breña Pantoja Republic and the Association of Students Huancavelicanos Residents in Lima, chaired by Dr. Jorge Matos Mendieta.
