About the university
The Peruvian University of the Americas began its institutional activities on October of October of 2002 with the signing of the Minutes containing the Foundation Act, the Agreement on Social Constitution and the Statute of the University. The 20 of March of 2009 took place the delivery of Resolution No. 100-2009-ANR-CONAFU, which gives the final authorization of operation and the university autonomy. The University has four Faculties (Engineering, Business Sciences, Communication Sciences and Law), and has its headquarters in the city of Lima, Peru. The semipresencial university study program is oriented to people who have work experience, the purpose is to promote collaborative learning based on the experience of each participant. In this way, a theoretical framework that improves their productivity and provides a better service to society, increasing their work opportunities in a world as competitive and globalized as we live in. Racing given by this system are as follows: Business Administration and Management; Accounting and Finance; Law.
