The programme is addressed to the candidates willing to learn and study German. The studies combine language learning by means of modern teaching methods and techniques with getting knowledge and building social skills and competences in communication, the culture and literature of the German-speaking countries, language theory and translation. The studies enable the student to learn about phenomena from various areas of socio-economic life and Polish-German relations, and acquire competences in languages for specific purposes in various disciplines. The programme includes, inter alia, the obligatory intensive course in a second additional modern language, selected according to the student’s interest. In addition, the students are able to have an impact on the education programme, choosing from among elective courses. The graduates of all majors have a high level of competence in German and represent a great knowledge in the general humanities, which makes them more qualified.
