About the university
Warsaw's first college intended to educate professional artists appearing on stage opened in 1811 Wojciech Bogusławski. Life of the oldest "theater academy" was very short, only existed until 1814. During this period we have been promoted inside ynaścioro graduates. At that time the school was characterized by a modern concept and an extensive program of science, its rank and raised the fact that it was subsidized by the government. Is totnym track school activities remained - the remaining part - lectures Bogusławski once written in the manuscript: Dramaturgy, or learning performing arts , containing - apart from historical outline of the general history of theater - reflections on mimicry and declamation stage.
