Objectives Assuming as target those legally defined for 1st cycle Courses, it is intended that a degree in Physical Education and Sports train their students for the competent performance of professional practice in the field of Sports Training and Exercise and Wellness (for students who opt for these two branches), and create conditions for successful completion of the 2nd cycle in Training Teachers of Physical Education (Field of Physical Education and School Sports). It seeks to give students a solid global knowledge (historical, scientific and educational basis) in the area of specialty, combined with the essential specific skills fundamental to good professional performance. More precisely, to have control of the expected competences (general and specific to each of the branches of specialization) represent the objectives of the course.
