Admission Requirements The following are eligible to apply to the cycle of studies leading to the Doctoral degree (a) Holders of a master's degree or legal equivalent; b) Holders of a bachelor degree who have a particularly relevant academic or scientific curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the PhD Scientific Committee; c) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting to their capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the Scientific Committee of the doctorate. Objectives The main goal of the cycle of studies leading to the degree of Doctor of Physical Education and Sport is the production of knowledge through original research in this area, in a pluriparadigmatic and methodological perspective, emphasizing a global and integrated vision of Physical Education and Sport Sciences. The total workload of the study cycle should correspond to 3 years. A doctor in this area must also be able to communicate with their peers, and with society in general about their area of specialization, and to promote, in academic and professional contexts, scientific, social and cultural advancement in a knowledge-based society.
