About the university
This University Nursing Center began its activity in 1947 as a School of Nursing, being the first Nursing School founded in the south of Spain. In the early 1950s, the former studies of Practitioners and Nurses were replaced by those of Technical Medical Assistant (ATS) and n 1977 by Royal Decree of October 27, approved the conversion of the ATS School in Nursing University School , Beginning to give the studies of Diplomate in Nursing and being attached since then to the University of Seville. At present and since 2009, after the adaptation to the European Space of Higher Education, the Center imparts the studies leading to the title of Graduate in Nursing. Its current denomination is University Nursing Center. Since its founding, it has been deeply committed to the quality of its students' training, providing them with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and skills that are necessary for excellence in the performance of their professional work in Nursing.
