International students friendly

The international students can access all the academic programs of the USC as a free mover student paying tuition fees. In addittion, the USC offers an early call for applications at master and PhD levels for non-EU students between February and March. There are also short term mobility stays avaliable through the different programs coordinated by the USC. Student visa

Every international student admitted to the USC into any academic degree, master or PhD will receive an admission letter. With this letter the students will be able to process their student visa in the Spanish Embassy of their home country. Please, check out the website of your nearest Spanish Embassy to know all the documents needed, aside from the admission letter, in order to apply for your student visa.

Accommodation

The USC offers acomodation in its six student residences halls. Five of them are located in Santiago de Compostela: Burgo das Nacións, Monte da Condesa, San Clemente, Fonseca and Cadarso; and the remaining one in the Campus of Lugo: Bal&Gay. For more information, please check out the following link: https://www.usc.es/en/servizos/sur/index.html Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the university will not offer shared rooms this year. The cost of one individual room is 292€ per month.

Scholarships

The USC does not offer any scholarships for international students except for those associated with mobility programs. For more information about scholarships options, please check out the website of the Ministry of Education in Spain: https://www.educacionyfp.gob.es/en/portada.html
