Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky

Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky higher educational institution of Ukraine 99-year history that its educational and research activities create conditions for the development of the national economy Ukraine has prepared more than 150 thousand specialists in the field of economy and trade, was and is a research and educational center. According to the SAC on July 7, 1998 (Protocol №15) accredited university as a whole as a higher education institution fourth level. In 2008, in connection with the planned accreditation, the university confirmed this status (certificate series RD-IV № 056307 from 11.11.2009 g., Added: Series RD-IV number 0572886 from 12.15.2014 g.). Ukraine Presidential Decree number 169/2007 of 03.03.2007 p. University granted national status. Due to the complicated socio-political situation in the east of Ukraine and the continuation of the armed conflict in the city of Donetsk, according to the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1178 of 17 October 2014, DonNUET carries out its activities in the city of Kryvyi Rih. University Development Strategy for 2016-2020 envisages improving the quality of specialists training on the ground of responsibility intensification of students and the educational institution for learning outcomes; introduction of new educational programmes, courses, trainings, disciplines; development of material and technical base; expanding of areas of fundamental and applied research; support of student government. In 2018 DonNUET collected a certificate of its quality management system compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 (No. 31400257 QM15) from DQS Group (Germany).
