About the university
IFNTUOG is the only higher education establishment of oil and gas profile in Ukraine. Since its establishment in 1967, the University’s focus remains on preparing qualified and experienced specialists for oil and gas industries. However, the University has expanded the list of specialities and offers training at the Bachelor's or Master's levels in computer or software engineering, economics, construction and civil engineering, automobile engineering etc. The students enrollment is 10.000. Students from 40 countries worldwide study at our university, namely from Azerbaijan, Angola, China, Ecuador, Gabon, Ghana, Iraq, Jordan, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Vietnam etc. The educational process is provided by almost a 1000 teachers. The teaching stuff regularly improve their qualification at foreign trainings. The University proposes both Ukrainian and English medium of instruction for international students.
