About the university
The Academy was established in 1993 on the basis of educational-methodical center of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine initially was called "Academy of Labor and Social Affairs." Charter establishment was approved Nov. 4, 1993. In the early 2010s the Academy were joined two institutions that were subordinate to the Federation of Trade Unions - Kharkiv Social and Economic Institute and the Institute for Tourism. As a result, in April 2013 the Academy of Labor and Social Affairs was renamed the Academy of Labor, Social Affairs and Tourism.
