About the university
State educational institution "Odessa Institute of Postgraduate Education", National University of Food Technologies is the successor of the Odessa branch of the Institute training of executives and specialists of the Ministry of Food Industry of USSR, created in 1969. by the Ministry of Food Industry of USSR 25.08.1969r. Number 339. In 2000, according to the Cabinet of Ministers of USSR branch was transferred from the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Order of MES of Ukraine № 746 from 16.11.2001r. at the Odessa branch of the Institute of training and retraining of executives and specialists in food processing industry was established as a structural unit IPDO Ukrainian State University of Food Technology and order of the University № 120 from 21.11.2001r. Institute was awarded the title of "Odessa Institute of Continuing Education Ukrainian State University of Food Technologies." In 2002. Decree of the President of Ukraine 19.03.2002r. Number 266/2002 University granted national status and adopted the name "National University of Food Technologies" (NUFT). Odessa Institute of Postgraduate Education came under UDUHT name - subsidiaries and dependent companies "Odessa Institute of Postgraduate Education" NUFT.
