About the university
Lviv Institute of Banking launched educational activities since 1940 as Lviv Accounting and Economics College. 10.05.1940 g. On the orders of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR of 10.05.1940 p. 031-185 number created Lvov Accounting and Economics College. 11.05.1944 g. By order number 19991-p. Council of People's Commissars of 10/16/1944 p. And order number 264-m. All-Union Committee for Higher School at the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR from 10.16.1940 g. Was named Lviv Accounting and Economics College of the State Bank of the USSR. 21.09.1945 g. College renamed Lviv accounting and credit the USSR State College (Order №33 of the USSR State 21.09.1945 g.). 07.01.1949 g. Resolution of the Council of Ministers on 05.11.1948 g. Number 532 Lviv accounting and credit college merged with the Lviv finance and Economics College, the institution was named Lviv financial-credit college and transferred to the subordination of the Ministry of Finance of the USSR. 1954 under orders of the Council of Ministers of 17 August 1954 r. (Number 9050), the Ministry of Finance of the USSR on September 4, 1954 r. (Number 1001) and the USSR State Bank on September 4, 1954 r. (Number 2361) College became subordinate to the State Bank USSR and continued his activities as accounting and Lviv credit college.
