About the university
The Galician Academy was founded in February 1997. For 14 years the academy has taken the leading place among the educational institutions not only of Prykarpattya, but of the entire western region of Ukraine. Today the Galician Academy is: Preparation of bachelors, specialists, masters in 12 specialties; 88 doctors and candidates of science; 11 computer classes; 9 specialized laboratories; 3 educational buildings with an area of 21629 m2; Military Department; Collective member of the Department of the International Academy of Informatization, Associate Member of the United Nations; Center for Information Technology, integrates more than three hundred computers in the network with access to the Internet; Interesting student life; dormitory; a cafe; Sports complex.
