About the university
Mukachevo State University (MSU) - a modern European institution of higher education wing, which provides training of highly qualified specialists in all educational levels. MSU established under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 27.08.2008 p. №1152-p and the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine of 01.09.2008. Number 794 "On reforming the network of higher educational institutions of III-IV level of accreditation under the Ministry of Education" at the two universities: Mukachevo Mukachevo Institute of technology and Humanities-pedagogical Institute. The first rector was appointed MSU Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Doctor of Chemistry, Professor Yuri Vikentievich Myhalynu, who led the university until 2013.
