About the university
Odessa State Agrarian University is the oldest state agricultural higher education institution in the South of Ukraine. Over the years of its existence, the University has trained over 45,000 specialists in the field of agriculture for Ukraine, CIS countries and foreign countries. In addition, thousands of agricultural specialists, teachers of technical colleges and universities have been retrained and upgraded. In accordance with the license of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, 7 faculties of the University train specialists in 9 specialties: agronomy; Protection of plants; Land management and cadastre; Fruit and vegetable growing and viticulture; Veterinary medicine; Zooengineering; Mechanization of agriculture; Accounting and Auditing; Management of organizations. In addition, under the contracts, training is organized for such specializations as the selection and seed production of agricultural crops; Biological plant protection; Viticulture and primary processing of grapes; Fur farming; Fish farming; beekeeping; Diseases of small animals; Information support of management in agroindustrial complex.
