About the university
August 30, 2014 marked the one hundred and thirty years since the founding of the National University of Food Technologies - one of the oldest educational institutions of our country that trains specialists for all branches of food processing industry. Our history - a vivid reflection of economic development and its science and technology, socio-political and cultural life. The emergence of specialized schools connected on the one hand, the development of education in the Russian Empire, the Kyiv branch of the Imperial Russian Technical Society, and the other - the need to prepare engineering and technical personnel of higher and middle management for beet sugar production industry, at the the most intensively developed.
