Duration of studies 1 year and 4 months Educational background requirements: Graduates who have acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and those who have got a Bachelor’s degree in another field on the condition of successfully passing the additional entrance exams required by the Admission Regulations of the National University of Ostroh Academy. Professional competencies and skills: A Master of Political Science by the level of the qualification is able to perform professional tasks in scientific, analytical, managerial, advisory and expert fields. In particular, to work as a political consultant, a political analyst, a political scientist in scientific institutions, centers, research groups, an expert in humanitarian, socio-political issues in government bodies (Regional State Administrations, District State Administrations), local self-government bodies (town, city, district councils/territorial communities), an expert in political parties, non-governmental organizations, associations, funds of humanitarian and socio-political direction, mass media editorial offices, a lecturer in socio-humanitarian disciplines at higher educational institutions of the III and IV levels of accreditation. A Master of Political Science can continue studies in a postgraduate program at local higher educational institutions or enter a program of doctoral studies (Рh.D) at Ukrainian universities or the educational establishments in other countries.
