About the university
Umsk National Agrarian University is a higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation, one of the best agrarian universities in Ukraine. It was founded in 1977, for almost 40 years of its existence it passed from the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv Agricultural Institute. V.V. Dokuchaev to a powerful educational complex of national importance. SNAU prepares highly qualified specialists for the agro-industrial complex with in-depth study of foreign languages and informatics for a number of accredited specialties. There are 8 faculties, 1 institute and 5 colleges in the structure of the university. Today the situation on the labor market is developing in such a way that more and more large agricultural and processing enterprises of Ukraine, created together with foreign partners, need highly qualified specialists capable of working according to the latest technologies. And it is in SNAU that students have a unique opportunity not only to get theoretical knowledge in the chosen specialty, but also to consolidate them in practice at enterprises of our country and a number of countries abroad, with which the university cooperates fruitfully.
