Prydneprovskaya State Academy of Construction and Architecture - one of the oldest educational institutions of Ukraine was organized in 1930 as Dnipropetrovsk Civil Engineering Institute. In 1994, Presidential Decree Ukraine was granted university status academy. The history of the development of its scientific and teaching schools are closely connected with the development of the economy, science and education in Ukraine. With PSABA combined names of world famous scientists and academics: GD Dibrov, SP Homeya, NV Sawicki, AP Prusakov VB Sweden and many others. PSABA - integrated state university IV level of accreditation with developed infrastructure that provides education on all levels. The Academy includes 57 teaching and research units: 5 schools full-time education (industrial and civil engineering, construction, architectural, mechanical, economic), Institute of Ecology and Life Safety in Construction (faculties technologies sustenance and ecology and life safety) Institute continuing professional education Institute of correspondence and distance education, scientific research facilities, the Institute of examination, design and research, and other units. The Academy has implemented a European credit-modular system of training. Now the academy has about 10,000 full-time students and distance learning. Training is carried out in 19 majors full-time and 13 - by correspondence.
