About the university
In 1874 Year's Day (1veresnya) opened Kherson zemstvo agricultural school with a three-year third degree, then four years of study (from the decision of the provincial Zemsky assembly session in 1872). School subordinated to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Empire. Year's Day 1883 reorganization of schools in secondary schools second degree with 6 tyrichnym period of training, the seventh - a practical (according to the order of Emperor Alexander III and State Council Decree of 05.22.1882 g.). School subordinate Ministry of State Property (department of agriculture and peasant industries). 1919 - transforming schools in Kherson Agricultural Institute combined solution meeting Kherson provincial and district land departments and agronomists Council (15 June). The Institute worked several months. 1920 - Association of Kherson Agricultural School of Polytechnic Institute in agricultural college of university status (order hubnarosvity Nicholas). 1928 - reorganized agricultural college in Kherson Agricultural Institute. O.D.Tsyurupy (decision of the People's Commissars of USSR on August 11, 1929).
