About the university
His biography of the National Academy of State Border Service of Ukraine has announced 14 December 1992, when according to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine number 700 was created by the Institute of Border Troops of Ukraine. In 1995, the Institute created the Border Troops of Ukraine Academy Border Troops of Ukraine and begins training senior staff officers. August 4 this year by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Academy named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky. April 29, 1999 the Academy was visited by President of Ukraine Leonid Hairy fur cap. The result of this evaluation visit and kind of activity was awarding the National Academy status. 6 February 2002 Prime Minister of Ukraine AK Kinakh on behalf of the President of Ukraine presented the battle flag of the Academy. And in August 2003 in connection with the reform of Border Troops of the State Border Service of Ukraine Academy named National Academy of State Border Service of Ukraine Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
