Course Overview With our rural location, over a century of experience, and a wealth of industry contacts, the RAU is the place to be if you want to learn from the best and use your skills within farm management. Today’s employers, many of whom form part of our global network of contacts, will be looking for candidates who know how to operate in a climate of uncertainty and fluctuating commodity prices – study with us and that could be you. Add to that the practical training from a work experience placement, you’ll graduate with a portfolio sure to make you stand out from the crowd wherever you choose to go next. Whether you wish to manage an agricultural enterprise or farming business, migrate into finance or journalism, or continue studying agriculture and land management, this agriculture and farm management course will give you the practical, financial and management skills you need. We’ll even guide your progression on to other conversion courses if you so wish. That might be one of our own BSc Honours top-up courses or a relevant opportunity at another HEI in the UK. Work placement By the time you complete this course, you will have a rich portfolio of your learning experience, thanks in part to a period of compulsory work experience during the summer vacation between your first and second year – which will be recorded in your portfolio.
