Students applying to this program are not yet nurses. Graduates of this program are prepared to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and function as a registered nurse upon successful completion of the exam. Fundamental Skills check-offs are face to face with a faculty member – providing immediate feedback and a personal learning environment for the student. Our Skills and Simulation Labs prepare students for the hands-on client care situations they will face in healthcare facilities – includes a variety of mannequins, supplies and equipment. All of our classrooms boast high technology capabilities that provide an interactive learning environment. Program Goals - Prepare graduates who are able to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse. - Prepare graduates who can competently and professionally deliver nursing care. - Prepare graduates to pursue education beyond the baccalaureate level.
