About the university
Welcome to Virginia Theological University. The University was granted an Exemption from the requirements of State Approval under the Provisions of Chapter 21 of the Code of Virginia in accordance with Subsection A, of Section 23-266. The exemption was granted in 1993 by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Virginia Theological University was created as a non denominational research and teaching institution. The University is a Monotheist University and it invites students from around the world to conduct scientific research in the faculties of Theological; History, Philosophy, law, Counseling, the Old Testament, New Testament, & the Quran. Virginia Theological University has been on line since 1995. It was the first Theological University to offer on line education in the United States.
