About the university
The National Technological University of the Southern Cone of Lima (UNTECS), was created by Law of the Congress of the Republic No. 27413, dated January 10, 2001, initialed by the President of the Republic, Dr. Valentín Paniagua Corazao, the First day of February of the same year, with soothes in the District of Villa El Salvador, of the Province of Lima, with the purpose of: * Attend the integral professional training, scientific research and cultural extension activities of the Region of Lima. * Promote and intensify the sustainable development of the districts and resorts located south of Metropolitan Lima and promote the growth and sustainable development of the Region of Lima and the country. For the fulfillment of these purposes, UNTECS will begin its activities with four Professional Careers: * Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications * Mechanical and Electrical Engineering * Systems engineer * Business Administration.
