About the university
AHE has the status of non-state university since 1993 (entry in the register of the Ministry under the number 30 on 10.05.1993). On the first academic year of 1994/1995 was adopted 150 students. Three years later, the AHE was approx. A thousand people more. In 2000/2001 he studied almost 11,000 young people. This year the university received permission MA on pedagogy . AHE next academic year began obtaining permission from the master management and marketing and undergraduate political science. In the spring of 2002 , she received permission to pursue graduate studies in computer science. Since 2003, AHE had the power to conduct studies on the ten directions graduate, undergraduate and postgraduate engineering. In 2007, he obtained the right to confer the degree of doctor in three directions. April 1, 2009 the university changed its name to "The Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz." In September 2009, after a negative assessment of the State Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education received the university the right to pursue graduate studies in Computer Science and the Faculty of Management. The university appealed against this decision, but the appeal was rejected and the decision became final in 2010.
