Location
This master’s aims to provide basic training and current knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis and physiopathology of human diseases. Students will obtain a solid foundation to start doctoral programs in biomedical research, acquiring basic skills in experimental laboratory work as well as the ability to develop professional tasks in the field of biomedical research. The master’s has a research orientation, meaning it is aimed at students who wish to continue their education by developing a doctoral thesis in the field of Biomedicine. Most of the students who pass this course are likely to continue their education with a doctoral thesis, either in the programmes in which this master is integrated, or in other programs at other universities in the field of Biomedicine.
