Hadhramout University

Hadhramout University was established by the Presidential Decree No. (45) of 1993 and was characterized by scientific specificity as it has focused on the technology and scientific specializations needed by contemporary development plans. The University has witnessed a remarkable development and a great social admission to education, and the total number of Bachelor students that were enrolled in the University in the academic year of 2013/2014 were (14106), while the number of the Master students were(473) and the graduates of the same year were (137). For the number of the teaching staff members and their assistants were (769) in the academic year of 2013/2014; (723) of them were Yemenis and (46) were foreign. The main center of the university is located in Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout province, however, the University has branches in the cities of Seiyun, Al Ghaydah in Al Mahrah province and Socotra. Vision: To be a qualified and excellent University in education, researches and community development. Mission: To be a distinguished University in its academic and research programs and outputs, and a prominent reference to development programs and technical development at the national and international levels by its scientific competencies, capabilities and integrated infrastructure.
