L’intégration de plus en plus poussée des technologies pour le traitement et l’échange de l’information permet, non seulement de contrôler, mais également de réaliser des dispositifs automatisés de plus en plus économes, en énergie et en temps, autonomes ou, au contraire, aptes à collaborer en réseau pour accomplir certaines tâches. Ces dispositifs doivent de plus être capables d’interagir rapidement avec leur environnement pour apprendre et ainsi améliorer leur comportement. Le parcours SMaRT proposé, à vocation Recherche et Professionnelle, s'inscrit dans cette perspective. Se spécialisant dès le second semestre du Master ASE, il vise à former des cadres de haut niveau possédant une formation transversale allant du contrôle en temps réel d'un système dynamique à la supervision d'une chaîne de production industrielle.
