BACKGROUND The Master Internacional en Empresa y Políticas Públicas (MIEPP) is a combined degree awarded by Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (the Spanish order of civil engineers), Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and École des Ponts ParisTech. Worth a total of 65 ECTS , the MIEPP primarily takes place in Madrid and its main language is Castilian Spanish, although certain classes are taught in English. NB: the MIEPP Masters leads to a degree. OBJECTIVES The MIEPP Masters is a public action programme inspired, in its content and its teaching methods, by the Mastère spécialisé® (Advanced Masters) in Public Policies and Action for Sustainable Development (MS PAPDD) run jointly by École des Ponts ParisTech and AgroParisTech in France. Moreover, the two programs run joint sessions every year. CAREER OUTLETS The MIEPP is aimed at engineers with several years of professional experience who are looking to take up positions heading large infrastructure projects, specific sectors or geographical areas. Founded on a wide spectrum of social science disciplines (management, sociology of organisations, regulation economics, negotiation, international relations…), the MIEPP is also open to executives of companies involved in large public contracts and/or public service licences.
