ITECH engineers distinguish themselves from those of other chemistry schools through advances in the manufacturing of plastic materials, on top of fundamental knowledge. ITECH plastic manufacturing engineers complement their specialty with aspects of the other majors: coating different plastic materials (Formulation Chemistry); composite materials used in transport, sports and leisure, and geo-textiles (Textile Materials). From hygiene to aeronautics, automotive to sports, many sectors make use of plastic manufacturing engineers who can work as much with raw material suppliers, as with “formulators”. The entire program is available in English or French. To apply, students must have completed at least 4 years of university-level studies in Chemistry or Materials Science.
