The degree in Nutrition Sciences at IUCS aims to train health professionals with the latest knowledge on human nutrition, formulation of diets, prevention of pathology and health promotion, but also with a domain in terms of technology, quality and food safety. The skills acquired include fundamental training in biological, chemical, biomedical and sociological areas and their application in the area of ​​Human Nutrition, in terms of health promotion, food quality and safety, community health, restoration, food technology, management and communication. In the different areas of study, we seek to transmit the ethical principles and norms of professional practice, the most recent knowledge and methodologies in research, the critical spirit and the scientific development relevant to the Course. Thus, the objectives set out in articles 2 and 3 of the Code of Ethics of the Order of Nutritionists are fulfilled, for the exercise of professional practice.
