The Programme's professors are from virtually all branches of Endocrinology, from the most basic to the most clinical ones. The purpose is to encourage the incorporation of candidates to those groups that are best suited to their profile and to their professional aspirations (clinical research, basic research, endocrine oncology, neurobiology of energy homeostasis, etc). The programme aims to acquaint students in training with the different techniques available for the study of endocrinological pathology, also facilitating the interaction of the basic and clinical groups so that students receive a training the highest level of training. Admission to the programme involves attending the training activities which include seminars, scientific discussions, and courses and congress attendance, as well as experiencing the atmosphere of a translational and clinical Research Centre. The programme seeks to incorporate students who are highly motivated to receive ample transdisciplinary training using the most advanced research techniques available.
