About the university
November 10th, 1995: The State High Expert Commission inspected Odlar Yurdu University and gave its approval. July 8th, 1996: Based on the approval of the State High Expert Commission, Odlar Yurdu University passed the state registration under Resolution No. 86 of the Cabinet of Ministers. October 16th, 1996: Odlar Yurdu University got a legal entity status of the Ministry of Justice of the Azerbaijan Republic. June 3rd, 1997: Odlar Yurdu University and Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business signed a cooperation agreement; June 19th, 2002 - Odlar Yurdu University and Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business signed a bilateral cooperation agreement in the sphere of scientific and education programs; April 2nd, 2004 - Odlar Yurdu University and Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business signed an agreement about a joint BBA and MBA program, and since 2005, admission of students to the BBA and MBA programs started in OYU. November 27th, 1998: The University got a permission (license) of the Ministry of Press and Information of the Azerbaijan Republic to carry out printing activity.
