At the Faculty of Chemical Technology, students may focus their professional profiles towards specialized fields: the production and properties of metals, glass, or ceramic materials; plastics and rubber; biocompatible materials; and nano- or submicron-scale structured materials. Students can also focus on a more theoretical programme exceeding the scope of the foundational programme. During the course of the programme, students choose one of three specializations offered. The Chemical Technology programme focuses on deepening knowledge in chemical technology (inorganic and organic) or in pharmaceutical technology and synthesis. In addition to the common foundation programme, students can focus on the study of new types of energy sources, catalysis, raw materials treatment, the production processes for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and other specialized interests.
