At UCT Prague, we believe in practical training, so you will spend a lot of time on your laboratory assignments - oftentimes taught by professors directly instead of other graduate students.
Student visa
All students who wish to study in the Czech Republic, with the exception of those from the EU countries, are required to have a student visa valid for the whole period of their stay in the country. It is not possible to apply for visa on the territory of the Czech Republic, but an application has to be submitted to the Czech embassy or consulate in the student's home country.
Accommodation
UCT Prague provides international students accommodation in dormitories located in the southern part of Prague, in the district of Chodov. There are two buildings, Sázava and Volha, which offer either double or triple rooms. Two neighboring rooms share a bathroom, a toilet, and a small corridor with a fridge. They are equipped with basic furniture.
Scholarships
University of Chemistry and Technology might award financial aid for excellent study results or in cases of hard circumstances of a student. Students can apply for financial aid from the second semester of their studies at UCT. Applications must be supplemented by Transcript of Records (issued by the Dean´s office) and 2 Letters of Recommendation from a UCT teacher / supervisor, duly signed.
