About the Programme Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary area for education and research which produces the skilled manpower as per the increasing demand of industry and research in India and abroad. B.Sc. Biotech provides a fundamental platform for the students to explore the limitless world of biotechnology. Opting for biotechnology and pursuing this as a career option brings the opportunities to work both in govt and the corporate sectors. The students during this course of study participate and learn skills relevant to industry. Many of the students on post completion of this course are working in govt. & private organizations. Eligibility Criteria 50% (45% for SC/ST) Marks in 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry along with Mathematics , Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science. Career path you can choose after the course Candidate may go for higher studies like M.Sc. Biotechnology. Government opportunities are there working as a Lab Technician / Lab Attendant with salary of 9k. Field officer in different banks (Agriculture) and all govt jobs after graduation. Corporate Opportunities working in R&D laboratories, Quality Control and marketing.
