Design surrounds us and models our environment; it contributes to define our thought and our culture. You will become a first level designer, able to develop innovative concepts for communication and products focused on human being and the environment, this latter understood as a historical, social, cultural, economic, and natural context in which products are used. You will be able to collaborate with specialists in the technical-scientific and humanistic fields during all the design stages thanks to a dialogue on materials, production methods, environmental sustainability, history, economic assessment, psychology of consumption, cognitive ergonomics and communication. You will be able to know and recognize the cultural and strategic value of design, the meaning of the choices and the technological solutions that are appropriate to the context and the stakeholders. You will be able to act in complex contexts with awareness, critical approach, creative and transformative intentionality and sensitivity in relation to the repercussions and impacts of the project. You will be able to collaborate with specialists in the technical-scientific and humanistic areas, through discussion, in the design field, on the topics of materials and production, environmental and social sustainability, material culture and history, economic evaluation and of consumer psychology, cognitive ergonomics and communication.
