The initial semesters of the Bachelor’s degree studies are focused on building solid foundation in the basic fields of chemistry (analytical, physical, inorganic and organic chemistry), enriched with knowledge in biology, mathematics or physics necessary for a proper understanding of chemical sciences. In addition to compulsory subjects, which are the common ground of all chemical degree programmes available at Polish universities, we offer you the opportunity to select individual teaching paths that allow you to develop your individual interests. The wide range of directional classes that are chosen during the fifth semester of studies includes: Drug chemistry, Organic and biological chemistry, Inorganic and structural chemistry, Physical chemistry with electrochemistry, Chemical analytics, Chemistry of polymers and ceramic materials, Chemistry of luminescent materials, Computational chemistry. During the studies, you will learn how to analyse materials using various instrumental techniques, for example chromatographic or spectroscopic methods, which are standard equipment of any laboratory in which you would like to find employment in the future.
