An innovative BA degree programme that combines information and communication technologies with humanities and social issues in an original way. The programme contents are focused on designing information space in a digital environment. Students learn how to create useful and visually appealing web services, conduct user experience (UX) research, conduct a professional search, and functionally organise, process, and present data. By learning techniques and tools of effective language and visual communication, they develop skills in creating and editing different types of texts and graphic materials and publishing them in a digital form. The programme is designed for students who have a humanistic approach to using computer technology. Who is an Information Architect? This is a person who designs the structure and organises the content of a website so that users can find the information they need quickly and easily. They develop navigation and search systems, create graphics to properly illustrate the content, and take care of the aesthetics and visual coherence of a website. The Information Architect also has knowledge and skills related to usability testing of websites and user interfaces, and search engine optimisation (SEO).
