Objectives The objectives of the study cycle is to train professionals in the world of Fine Arts, Visual Arts, and Imaging, giving preference to an educational denomination steered toward the projectual standpoint. In other words, we aim to teach the students the most modern and contemporary attitude pertaining to artistic education, which is the construction of Artistic projects with a conceptual, technical and commercial viability. The major objective of this study cycle is to train professionals who have a professional attitude for excellence in what regards the theoretical and technical, as well as the know-how related to the art market so that they may be quickly integrated into that system of values and professional possibilities and, hitherto, conscientiously develop their personal work and author projects. In this manner we will contribute to an increase in both the quality of the artist and the quality of life in a modern society. Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired The competencies to be developed by the students will result in the attainment of a first class professional level. With such we prescribe an in-depth theoretical, technical and mercantile awareness about the market values considered to be part of contemporary art. For this purpose, it will be necessary to obtain knowledge regarding aesthetic values, in other words, conceptual awareness and knowledge pertaining to the theory of art, so that by developing an artistic idea, the students are able to carry out "Works of art." To this end, a broad technical knowledge and an awareness of the technologies needed so that an artistic project has visibility is essential. Last of all, the students will obtain knowledge concerning marketing, supervision and the market so that they may understand how the art market and the labour market associated to the same function and, as a consequence, be comprehensibly integrated in this system. Career There are several vocational opportunities within the field of Fine Arts, specifically that of the professional artist in the field of Painting, in addition to being geared to a range of professional Art Galleries, as well as first class specialized Studios, both on a national and international level, in addition to the possibility of working with Museums and Town Councils. Also take into account the possibility, on the Project level, an entire structure of Patronage, which is, in fact, strongly embedded in urban enterprises, as well as the banking structure. It is also worth highlighting the professional solutions in the field of Imaging, such as set designer, professional designer, advertising and Fashion artist, Sketch Artist, illustrator, designer of industrial pieces, embossing, interior decorator and a whole range of possibilities associated to Image.
