Conditions for Admission 1. The following elements must be submitted when formalizing the application: - Certificates of Qualifications - Curriculum Vitae: - A pdf document generated through the Science Vitae national curriculum management system platform (https://cienciavitae.pt) OR - pdf document organized according to the curricular elements of the Ciência Vitae: 1. identification; 2. training; 3. professional background; 4. research and/or professional projects; 5. scientific production (books, book chapters, scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, articles in peer-reviewed proceedings of scientific and/or professional conferences); 6. other activities and other curricular elements. - Pilot idea project of an empirical study within the scope of the PhD; - pdf document with the pilot idea project, to be requested by email to the course secretariat: carla.madeira@ulusofona.pt - Please note that the sole purpose of this pilot idea project is to evaluate the scientific maturity of the candidate. The pilot idea project is not binding on the research work to be carried out during the study cycle, since the candidates admitted will be integrated in the research lines of the teaching team. - A motivation letter in which the candidate presents the main reasons for his/her application and highlights how attending the doctoral program fits into his/her training trajectory and career prospects. - Copy of identification document. 2. The seriation of the candidates will be carried out according to the score obtained in the selection process. The following criteria will be used: Candidates with previous qualification classification: - Classification of previous qualification (50%) - Empirical study pilot idea project (40%) - CV and motivation letter (10%) Applicants without a previous degree classification: - Scientific or professional CV and motivation letter (60%) - PhD pilot idea project of an empirical study (40%) NOTE: The selection board will conduct an interview to the candidates admitted, with the exclusive objective of better clarifying the elements included in the application. Interviews will take place prior to the selection board's meeting for the seriation of candidates at the application stage. Candidates will be informed at least 5 days in advance of the date and conditions under which the interviews will take place. Recipients The following may apply to this cycle of studies - Holders of a pre-Bologna undergraduate degree in Psychology with a final grade average higher than 16 points or with a curriculum that shows the acquisition of relevant scientific and/or clinical skills; - Holders of a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Psychology Pre-Bologna; - holders of a 1st Cycle of Studies in Psychology Post-Bologna with a 2nd Cycle of Studies in Psychology; - psychiatrists.
