This Master's in Physics is essentially research oriented , but at the same time it provides cutting edge and up-to-date training in Physics that gives graduates the opportunity to access jobs in the different productivity sectors from the academic to the industrial sector, including jobs requiring technological and research profiles. There are PhD programs that rely strongly on this masters, such as Nuclear and Particles Physics and Science and Technology of Materials (both with mentions of excellence) and Laser, Photonics and Vision, structured around the teachers participating in this masters. From a structural point of view, it is worth pointing out that this degree, which is the only one available in Spain, represents the continuation of the studies for the Degree in Physics, which is at the same time is the only one in the Galician University System.
