Duration of studies: 3 years and 10 months. Educational background requirements: General Certificate of Senior Secondary Education, Subject Standardized Test Certificates from the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment in competitive examination is required according to the Admission Regulations of the National University of Ostroh Academy. Professional competencies and skills: Bachelor of History can work as teacher of history, research assistant, junior research associate of research institutes and research units, as well as perform researchsupporting and training-supportive work in scientific-research institutions, higher educational establishments, scientific libraries, editorial offices of special-interest newspapers and journals, in public organizations; practical and research-supporting work in museums, archival institutions, work in excursion offices, travel companies, local-history organizations, libraries, archaeological and ethnographic expeditions, archeographic organizations; carry out pedagogical work at comprehensive secondary schools and vocational schools. The specialist is able to: find and process special historical, political, economic, cultural and spiritual information, research into the issues associated with the history of Ukraine and the world, to be engaged in tourist business, teach at comprehensive secondary schools and vocational schools, etc
