Since 1886, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design—a private, nonprofit four-year and postgraduate college—has been the preeminent art and design educator in the region. Today we are a strong national leader in fine arts, design, entrepreneurial studies, and more. Student visa

To obtain a student visa, you must first show proof of funds to cover tuition, housing, and expenses for at least one year of attendance at MCAD. Once accepted, MCAD will send you a financial certification form that must be signed and must include an official letter from a manager or officer of a major financial institution citing the balance of funds for you or your sponsor. Accommodation

As an MCAD student you can opt to live in our on-campus apartments or you can live off campus. https://mcad.edu/student-life/housing MCAD offers private and shared apartments—not crowded dorms—that contain full kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, and storage space. Living on campus puts you right in the center of our college community, where you’ll have easy access to student events and campus facilities, most of which are open 24/7.

Scholarships

Scholarships are critically important to the success of MCAD students. More than 95% of MCAD students receive some sort of financial aid; it is the difference between a realized ambition and a deferred dream.
