Offered foreign language classes: English, German, French, Russian Characteristics of the degree programme: History has been prepared for all lovers of Clio (the muse of history originating from Greek mythology). The programme allows to gain knowledge above all on the events from the past of Poland and the world (from antiquity to the 20th century), and to develop a range of skills (including the ability to see the cause-and-effect relationships of events). The implementation of content from other disciplines allows to equip the graduates with a range of general competencies in social sciences (philosophy, sociology, political science). Thanks to a large number of classes that take into account the individual interests of the participants, the programme enables the development of predispositions and shaping independent intellectual and research activity as well as preparation for the proper perception of cultural heritage and active participation in its creation. The high level of education is provided by numerous well-educated lecturers and renowned scholars of all historical periods.
