Degree programme description: The 2nd cycle full-time studies consist of theoretical classes and workshops developing and perfectioning abilities acquired before in the field of film directing, dramaturgy, scenography, screenwriting, work with actors, editing in film and TV, sound production, computer animation and also courses in humanities, including, among others, history of literature, drama and theatre. The principal aim of the studies is to prepare for diploma film production and writing theoretical Master’s degree thesis In terms of preparation of 2nd cycle studies graduates, the Faculty provides substantive and programme contact with institutions and organisations producing professional short, medium and full-length films Career prospects: A graduate of 2nd cycle full-time studies obtains deepened knowledge of humanisties and professional qualifications in the field of directing and screenwriting. They have experience necessary to work with actors and supernumeraries. They know technical and technological aspects of TV and film producing, with particular consideration of knowledge on operating, editing, film music, sound and stage design. Thanks to the knowledge, qualifications and social abilities obtained at the University, they can undertake individual work as a director in theatre, cinema, television, entertainment industry, and also as an adapter or screenwriter. They also can fulfil the duties of film and art shows producer and managerial function in cinematography and TV units.
